Sorry, who?

Hey hey, what’s happening? How are you? Stumbled upon the website of any creative professionals that made you go “WOW” lately?

No? Ah, too bad.

Anyway, I’m Kevin Seefried. Well, I’m a Kevin Seefried.

There’s another who runs some company called “TwinEngines” and one who’s a convicted terrorist. Super important for you to know I’m not that one. Like, if you Google me and think “Okay, why would I hire a guy who’s into treason?” — I’m not! I even talked to the Washington Post about it.

So, what’s my deal? Oh, you know — nothing crazy. I’m a creative copywriter in the late stages of a stand-up comedy addiction. I’m down to like…6 times a week. After years of being a dreamer, turned out I was not the only one — so I tried “getting my life together” instead.

Since then, I’ve been a Creative Writer for NBCUniversal’s Marketing and Creative Partnerships team. It’s a lot like stand-up, except when people tell me offensive street jokes they never tag ‘em with “you can put that in one of your little skits ads!”

What do I do over at NBCU? Well, if only there were a bunch of illustrative bullet points conveniently listed to make me sound impressive…oh, wait — look!

• Made a bunch of commercials for brands like TikTok, GEICO, Chevy, TwinSpires, SharkNinja, TurboTax, and Autodesk.

• Wrote jokes for Seth Meyers and Kenan Thompson for a corporate event.

• Scripted three long-form TV specials.

• Conceived of and pitched the 2022 NBCU UpFront’s “BravoCon Moment."

• Answered RFPs galore.

• Wrote a few things that WERE SO GOOD OMG that never got made (bummer, dude). But hey, ya gotta enjoy the ride.
