And…?

The Ask: Kevin, show your versatility, PLEASE.

The Answer: Calm down! Jeeze, Louise. Okay, here you go.

Ever do long-form branded content?

Halloween in Hollywood

In 2022, my team put together an hour-long TV special that aired on Saturday night (in primetime!) on NBC. Anchored in the promotion of “Halloween Ends,” “Halloween in Hollywood” celebrated the spookiest time of year with features on Halloween Horror Nights, the “Halloween” movie franchise, and the history of horror. It also included interviews with the film’s director (David Gordon Green), composer (Robert Carpenter), and star (Jamie Lee Curtis). We even shared special Halloween memories from celebrity guests like Blake Shelton, Kyle Richards, and Terry Crews.

Salute to Summer

In 2023, the US Army partnered with NBCUniversal for a campaign centered around what it means to “Be All You Can Be.” The largest piece of that campaign? A concert filmed at Universal Studios Hollywood and produced for Peacock. On this project, I co-scripted host Erin Lim Rhodes’ remarks, provided creative feedback on the edit of the stand-up portion of the show, and worked on various other associated tasks and materials — including the sizzle to the right of this paragraph.

Best of BravoCon Presented by State Farm

A key piece of State Farm’s massive digital spend surrounding BravoCon 2023, this 20-minute recap show brought the spectacle, fun, and drama of BravoCon to Peacock. Hosted by Daryn Carp and Paige DeSorbo, the show kicked off with coverage of the event’s biggest brand-safe stories, followed by a series of segments like “Who Wore It? Guess,” “Love You, Meme It,” and “Who Said That?”

As part of the creative team, I co-scripted the show, designed segments, identified key stories, worked with cameramen and editors on the ground to capture key assets, and more.

But can ya write something billboard-esque?

Okay, but what about B2B?

You mean like massive, revenue-generating moments at client-facing events?

The 2022 NBCU Upfront’s “BravoCon Moment” began with a pre-recorded video of a Bravo-loving couple racing for their phones in an attempt to win a free BravoCon pass. After bonking heads, they awoke on-stage at Radio City (LIVE) in a choreographed dream sequence jam-packed with Bravolebrities from the network’s biggest shows.

In addition to receiving coverage in publications like Deadline, AdWeek, and AdAge, our UpFront spectacular helped add 11 new advertiser categories, upped the total number of sponsors by 300%, and increased revenue by 400% across NBCUniversal’s One Platform compared to the previous BravoCon.

Or more like joke-jammed scripts for corporate audiences?

From time to time, my team’s tapped into my joke-writing skills to draft remarks for celebrity talent like Kenan Thompson, Seth Meyers, Laverne Cox, and Ana Gasteyer. I wrote Ana’s remarks for NBCU’s One22 tech conference, scripted Laverne’s 2022 UpFront pre-show appearance, and contributed full drafts and jokes to remarks from Kenan Thompson and a video segment from Seth Meyers for Comcast’s Converge event. Some of my jokes for Seth were even quoted in Deadline.

Or are we talking video content specifically crafted to reach small and medium businesses?

With NBCU aiming to reach small and medium businesses, we created a sizzle for social channels and sales along with spots to play across NBCU inventory and get small and medium businesses jazzed about what NBCU can do for them.

Okay, but any chance you have four random spec campaigns?
